At Almonte General Hospital (AGH), our experienced staff pride themselves on providing a warm, friendly and supportive environment. Our staff appreciates the individual needs of our expectant mothers and family members. Pregnancy is an exciting time for you and your family. Our unit has five postpartum rooms with their own washroom and shower, two labour and delivery rooms, showers, and an operating room for cesarean sections. Ultrasound services are available on site. A full range of pain management options are available, including 24-hour epidural service. NEW! Obstetrics patients may bring ONE support person (plus a doula) with them for the delivery. That person will be the only visitor permitted during the postpartum stay but may leave the hospital and come back in.
