Thank you for your support!
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Thank you to the members of our communities for your generous donations of personal protective equipment (PPE) supplies. We are grateful for these materials which will help us ensure the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and physicians.
Here are the specific things that we need:
- Latex-free gloves (unopened boxes)
- Protective eyewear (shields, safety googles)
If you are able to donate factory-made personal protective equipment (N95 masks, gowns or face shields), please email Cindy Skebo at firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements.
HOME-MADE MASK AND CAPS
Thank you for reaching out to offer your supplies and volunteer sewing services.
For our amazing sewers and quilters out there, we would appreciate masks with elastic ear loops and surgical caps, preferably with buttons on each side so that our health care team members can put their mask elastic around the button instead of their ears. Wearing masks for the entire shift day in and day out can make their ears raw so caps will not only keep their hair covered but will also help with the rawness around their ears. Attached below are links to a mask pattern and to a tutorial on how to sew a surgical cap. Please use tightly woven 100% cotton fabric.
Here are 2 patterns for your use:
If you have items to donate, they can be dropped off at the Emergency Department entrance. There is a bin to receive your donation. Please put the items in a plastic bag and include a piece of paper with your name and address.
Please do not come inside the building to ensure we are maintaining social distance.
GIFTS OF FOOD
We are also grateful to kind community members who have expressed an interest in providing food for our staff and physicians from local businesses and restaurants. It’s a great expression of love and support! Unfortunately, we are not accepting any food donations at this time.
